Analytics 3.0 - By Thomas H. Davenport
When I first read this article, my life flashed in front of my eyes .. A six year old walking into a cold room with a Grand, Majestic Mainframe and spending hours playing with the mysterious punch cards waiting for my mother to finish her work.. move forward to my teenage years and the fascination by the first personal computer and the relatively easy to use Word Processors, Multiplan and dBASE software programs compared to Basic..!!.. Till today I remember the first time I saw a sound card and a colored monitor.. I believe that is one of the reasons why today, I personally don't take the accessible technology for granted. I strongly believe that the great achievement is not just in advancing technology but making it accessible and relatively easy and fun to use.
Great article about the evolution of Analytics.. I hope you enjoy and benefit from as I did.
